For more than forty years, Dan’s reputation has been built on the problems other shops couldn’t solve. He’s a Master Certified and Advanced Certified automotive professional with an Automotive Science degree. He worked the professional Tech Line — the number technicians dial when they’re the ones stuck — and he’s taught other mechanics at industry events and professional workshops. When a repair shop runs out of answers, Dan is often the call they make.
None of that came from a book. It was earned diagnosing thousands of vehicles across four decades — including years running a Goodyear mechanical shop as its manager — while cars turned into computers and the fixes kept changing. Add years as a race car driver, and you get someone who knows how a car behaves at the limit, not just in the bay.
Dan was born and raised right here. The people he works for aren’t repair orders — they’re neighbors, families and local businesses across Kenilworth and the surrounding Union County towns who count on their cars to keep moving.
After years in traditional repair shops, he noticed the one part of the experience customers never enjoyed: going there — the ride to arrange, the waiting room, the morning gone. So he changed the model.
